The design of the Barnett Recruit crossbow features a lightweight composite stock, with an adjustable buttstock, which allows you to tailor the crossbow to your own frame and particular body size. The pistol grip has a very ergonomic design and the pass through foregrip with finger reminders to make sure that your fingers stay out of the way of the cable and string. A Metal Injection Molded trigger delivers an ultrasmooth trigger pull. It features an anti-dry fire trigger safety system which prevents damage to the crossbow. With a Picatinny rail, this crossbow allows you to add accessories. It is fitted with an AVi anti-vibration foot stirrup; Crosswire string and cable system for consistent smooth, quiet shots.

The Barnett recruit crossbow allows for integration of a crank cocking device. The hunting crossbow comes with a quiver of 3x 20″ arrows and a Barnett premium red dot sight.
